Grand Roots, Little Shoots Gardening Workshop

What a morning we had at our gardening workshop on Monday! The turnout was wonderful, and it did our hearts good seeing grandparents and grandkids working side by side, hands in the dirt together.

We swapped gardening stories, played with some gardening-themed toys, and snacked on something made completely from what was grown right there in the garden. Everyone got to pot their own vegetables to take home too — and we talked about just how much good a garden can do for a family, from fresh food on the table to some peaceful time outside together.
