Every time I visit Fort Necessity National Battlefield, I gain an appreciation for the type of warfare that was waged on the frontier at the time. Standing in the Great Meadows and imagining the chaos- rain, gun smoke, hollering, and the cries of the dying- it’s almost unfathomable.

On a recent drive through the area, I brought my family to explore and I wanted to share the history with you all, especially if you’ve never visited before.
