This morning, my Newswriting students were all pressed up against the glass watching a nervous groom stand on Cuna Street waiting for the first look with his bride.

We were trying to be quiet to let them have their moment, but it is entirely possible you heard our nervous laughter and the “awwwwwws” from the women in my class. That moment was the absolute best way that I can imagine starting our Thursday morning. We felt lucky to witness that sweet moment.

If you and the couple are ok with it, I’d love to be able to show my class a photo that you captured of us screaming in the window.

I hope the rest of your shoot was as beautiful as the part we got to creep through the blinds.
