One of things we had to consider when toiling with the concept of a preserve line was ingredient integrity. Traveling through the rust belt the impression of “Amish made” was realized through the packaging and presentation but you’d check the ingredients to find sugar, fruit concentrate, and corn syrup as the top ingredients. The answer to our question of “why so cheap?” was made clear then. Our Homestead Preserves are made using only Cane Sugar(NO CORN SYRUP!) and Non-GMO ingredients while also sourcing fresh produce through domestic family farms. The preserves are small batch made in America’s rust belt to help revitalize 🇺🇸 manufacturing and our offerings include hard to come by selections like elderberry, gooseberry, and boysenberry while still offering classics like strawberry rhubarb.
