Students with autism are a critical population that have unique needs. At this campus event, Dr. Teri Estrem and Dr. Nicholas Wright will lead a discussion about common challenges among autistic students, and strategies to communicate and work with these students. A panel of autistic students will provide their insights about the challenges they face, what they have to offer, and specific strategies that can support their success in class and on campus. Participants attending this workshop will gain skills to assist autistic students on their journey toward a successful education.
