3:15 PM UPDATE: All St. Cloud police and fire resources have cleared the scene, but FHP is continuing their investigation. Please look for continued updates from them.

2:40 PM UPDATE: Northbound lanes have reopened. Southbound lanes remain closed.

1:40 PM: Florida's Turnpike is completely shut down in both directions near mile marker 240 due to a serious crash that will require Orlando Health Air Care Team to land on the roadway. Florida Highway Patrol, St. Cloud Fire Rescue, and Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS are also responding. Please drive with caution near first responders.

💦 Summer is here, and that means water gun battle season has returned to the City of St. Cloud, Florida!

Joined this year by members of the City Council as well as the St. Cloud Fire Rescue Department, we fought valiantly against the Park’s and Recreation summer campers at the Civic Center.

While we definitely feel that we won, everybody who took part ‘won’ by having a great time and strengthening community bonds.

As St. Cloud’s population grows, so does the city’s need for police officers and firefighters.
