Lilypad Early Learning Center

Today we took a walk to the park and counted 17 American flags along the way! 🇺🇸
We also got to observe some amazing real-world science when we spotted baby birds being fed by their mom and dad swallow. The children were so excited to watch nature in action!
What a fun day of fresh air, observation, counting, and hands-on learning at Lilypad! 🐦🌿

Happy 4th. As we observe the 4th we also keep and minds all the men and women that died for our right to be free. Happy Semiquincentennial America.

🇺🇸 Fourth of July Indoor Picnic! 🎨🧺
The heat kept our picnic inside, but we didn’t let that kill the vibe! The children used watercolors, creativity, and a little imagination to paint and decorate their very own tablecloth.
Once our masterpiece was complete, we got to enjoy lunch right on top of it! What a fun and creative way to celebrate with an indoor Fourth of July picnic! ❤️🤍💙

💦 Water Wednesday Fun! 💦
Today our Lilypad friends cooled off with splashing, pouring, scooping, and plenty of water-filled play! Water play is not only a summer favorite—it also supports sensory exploration, coordination, problem-solving, and social skills.
Nothing beats learning through play on a warm summer day! ☀️💙
