Drooling over this dress! That fabric is delicious!

Also, my mother would be pleased to know that I used a pattern from her collection, purchased sometime before I was even born, to make the skirt for my costume.

Yay, the fabric for my Weird Girl dress came today! !
My first official commission has been completed and is at a party with its new owner!

Success! You would never know the fabric wasn't red to begin with! iDye is the best!
Working on the commission I took on. It's times like these when I wish I could somehow have every fabric I pictured in my head made in just the weight and fiber content I desire. In this case I am settling for the right fiber and pattern and dying it.
It looks like I'm taking on my first commission! EEK! It's simultaneously exciting and terrifying!
