I have successfully completed 15 hours of mandatory continuing education courses to renew my real estate license, allowing me to fully appreciate the arrival of spring. ๐ ๐
Minnesota Real Estate Agents must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years, achieving a minimum passing score of 70% on each unit and the final exam to maintain an active license. Additionally, within this 2 year period, agents are required to fulfill 15 hours of further educational training. ๐ฉโ๐ซIn the 20 years I've been in the real estate business, I've taken 442 hours of continuing education! ๐ฎ๐
Although the courses can be lengthy, they are necessary for Realtors to remain knowledgeable about Minnesota Agency Laws, Fair Housing regulations, ethical standards, and industry updates. Additionally, these courses equip Realtors with the skills to protect their clients from becoming victims of fraud schemes, as well as to understand real estate auctions and social media compliance, among other topics.
