About the Artist Curator:
Dizi (she/they) is a multidisciplinary afro-indigenous artist based in Minneapolis. Dizi specializes in various mediums of visual art such as painting, drawing, beadwork and jewelry making. In her work, Dizi strives to merge her passion for activism with her love of artistic creation. Representation of black and Indigenous women are a major focal point of Dizi’s paintings.
