Experience and explore art, fashion, food, markets, and meaningful traditions that contribute to and nurture Somali identity and belonging.

This experience is curated by Yusra Mohamud, a longtime connector within South Minneapolis’s East African community.

K-12 Educators will receive 3 clock hours upon completion of the event.

From 5–8:30 pm, participants will enjoy a complimentary dinner provided by Fiesta Mexicana before joining a facilitated conversation about what makes Red Wing special - the good, the quirky, the memorable, and even the challenges that continue to shape the community.
