Grantee Spotlight: Repowered - Electronics Recycling and Retail Store

GIVING WoMN is proud to recognize Repowered as a 2026 grant recipient.

Repowered blends environmental sustainability with second‑chance employment. Through their Work Readiness Program, individuals reentering society after incarceration receive paid training, job skills, certifications and wraparound support — all while recycling millions of pounds of electronics each year.
Our 2026 grant supports their two‑phase job training initiative that helps participants build stability, secure living‑wage jobs and dramatically reduce recidivism.

Grantee Spotlight: MORE

GIVING WoMN is proud to recognize MORE as a 2026 grant recipient.

Founded by refugee and immigrant women, MORE empowers new Americans through free English classes, workplace literacy programs, and weekly access to food, clothing and household items. Demand for their services has doubled in the past year, and MORE continues to meet community needs with a dedicated staff and strong partnerships.

Our 2026 grant supports general operations so MORE can expand classrooms, meet increased demand and continue providing essential education and support to immigrant and refugee families.
