Happy Opening Day (yesterday)! Just added, new imagery from opening day ceremonies held at Metropolitan Stadium in 1965, with Minnesota Governor Karl Rolvaag.

We're in the process of adding recently digitized travelogue film to the archive. This film is unique to CONUS only. All of the film from this particular collection was captured in 24p. Today's clip is a snippet from a trip taken to Jordan in 1998 and shows a historic site at Petra.

On this day in 2003, the United States, along with coaltion forces initiate war on Iraq. Here's a clip from the local Twin Cities KSTP-TV station, who had an emebedded reporter following Minnesota troops.
