Introducing: The Helix Center Biotech Incubator 🌱🧪

The West Lobby renovation at the Helix Center Biotech Incubator transformed the main entrance into a modern, welcoming space.

The scope of work for this area included demolition and full redesign of the vestibule, lobby, waiting area, and storage room, completed within an occupied facility.

Upgrades featured new architectural partitions with LED edge lighting, custom millwork and reception elements, a directory feature wall, updated ceilings and lighting, HVAC and electrical modifications, and new flooring and finishes throughout.

The result: a cohesive, high-performing entry that reflects the innovation inside!

After 16 years, Fidelity Investments was ready to expand and remodel its Ladue office located in The Villages at Schneithorst. A. Eilers Construction, in partnership with Structure Tone, was selected to bring Jacobs Engineering Group’s renovation design to life.

This two-story, 10,211-square-foot office features a welcoming lobby with high ceilings, tile floors, and glass-front offices accented with artwork from local artists, tasteful furnishings, and beautiful lighting details. Beyond the lobby, the space includes carpeted floors, acoustical ceilings, an open staircase, additional glass-front offices, and meeting areas.

Phase 2 has just been completed, and the Fidelity team is already enjoying the updated space as we move forward with Phase 3. This final phase will include a full pantry area, a large meeting room, focus rooms, and an open office area. Stay tuned for those final finishes 👀

🚒❗ We had the opportunity to visit the Central Core Fire Training Center (CCFTC) for their ribbon cutting ceremony! While the weather didn’t quite cooperate, it was still a great experience getting to see this project come to life. This facility will play a critical role in training those who protect and serve our surrounding communities for generations to come❗🚒

We’re proud to have been part of making it happen. Our team completed the site work for the project, including:

- Grading the lot
- Installing storm sewers
- Bringing in a new large water service to support a fire hydrant and future pavilion
- Reinforcing the parking lot to support the weight of fire trucks
- Pouring the foundation and concrete apron for the fire training building
- Installing new fencing with a 30’ cantilever gate
- Adding new electrical service and exterior lighting

The fire training building itself was designed and set by AFTS.
