The Fourth of July is an important time to celebrate, but sudden, unexpected booms and flashes from fireworks can bring back traumatic battlefield experiences for veterans dealing with PTSD, and more dogs go missing on the Fourth of July than any other day of the year because the loud noises trigger a flight response. Please be a considerate neighbors by limiting when you set off fireworks and secure your pets to help keep everyone as safe and comfortable as possible.
