On Design Interiors

Immersive theming is a sure way to really wow guests and entice vacationers. 🤩When deciding what themes to do at , we knew a glow room had to be on the list. Being a coastal town, Salem Harbor became an easy inspiration and backdrop to this theme.

We did all the groundwork and made a list of local fish and marine wildlife and got to work imagining how it would feel beneath the sea. Working with artist , he turned the walls into an aquarium complete with a pirate shipwreck and neon sea creatures. One of his specialties is creating jaw dropping glow effects.

The 3D elements were a creative collection of household objects, repurposed furniture and decor from our friends at , , and .

Boat bookshelves were painted and mounted to the ceiling to become the hull of a fishing boat floating overhead. A ratan fish pendant becomes the fisherman’s latest catch. LED glow cubes double as bedside tables. Neon children’s toys, colorful loofas, and textured florals become dayglow coral. Hula skirts transform into a curtain of seaweed.

By thinking outside of the box and imagining a dreamy oceanic escape, we are able to transport guests to amazing places.
