Change of Command

On Tuesday May 19, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island will hold a Change of Command Ceremony for the commanding general of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and the Eastern Recruiting Region.

Brig. Gen. Ahmed T Williamson will relinquish command to Brig. Gen. Lance J. Langfeldt at the All Weather Training Facility aboard the base at 10 a.m.

Please join us either in person or virtually in celebrating Brig. Gen. Williamson and welcoming Brig. Gen. Langfeldt to the Lowcountry.
