Public transit is more than a ride; it's a lifeline.
As a transit driver in Morrow County, Chadd Robinson helps connect veterans to VA appointments, gets children to summer programs, and ensures community members can access healthcare, work, and other essential services.
This Rural Transit Day, we're proud to recognize Chadd and every transit worker who keeps Oregon's rural communities connected. Thank you for the work you do to make sure no one is left behind.

Oregon AFSCME supports this lawsuit and stand with Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek, Attorney General Dan Rayfield and the other states who joined the fight. These dangerous new rules from the federal government would take away the life-saving Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid coverage that cancer patients, people dealing with mental health issues, people with disabilities, and thousands of others depend on. Oregon AFSCME members work in hospitals, behavioral health clinics, residential facilities and local health centers and facilities, caring for people who need that coverage to get the treatments they rely on. We must stand together and fight back against any attempts to roll it back.
