“I Like Baked Spuds and I Cannot Lie” kicked off Staff Appreciation Week in the most spud-tacular way. Our staff loaded up on baked potatoes with all the fixings, plus butter and fresh salad on the side—because when it comes to showing appreciation, we don’t half-step.

And just like that, our morning trivia was off the hook. The question: who was born and raised in West Philadelphia before moving to the west coast?

Big ups to Ms. Panacopoulos, who came in clutch with the correct answer and scored a $20 gift card to Target! Think you’ve got what it takes? Call the main office tomorrow with your answer for another chance to win.

Staff Appreciation Week starts tomorrow!

Our HMLS educators and staff are all that and a bag of chips, and this week is all about celebrating them.

We encourage families to show them some extra love. Have your child draw a picture, write a heartfelt note, or find a simple, thoughtful way to say thank you. These little gestures mean everything and really make their day!

The PTC will be spoiling our staff all week long with a totally rad lineup of 90s-themed food and fun, and we are so excited to celebrate the amazing people who help our kids learn, grow, and thrive every day.

Let’s make it a week our staff will never forget!

After an incredible show of support from our HMLS community, we are so excited to announce that Ms. Vaillancourt’s class is our Calendar Fundraiser champion with an amazing 69 tickets sold!

This was a close and competitive race, and we are so grateful to every single family who participated and helped make this fundraiser such a success. Together, we raised over $3,200 to support Field Day. We cannot wait to make it an unforgettable experience for our students.
