When labor begins, we provide guidance based on the progression of your contractions. We generally adhere to the 4-1-1 guideline: contractions every 4 minutes, lasting 1 minute, consistently for 1 hour. We offer comprehensive emotional and physical support throughout your labor journey, and you're encouraged to bring along anyone you feel will provide you with comfort and encouragement! 🤰

When you go into labor, give us a call so we can make a plan based on how quickly your labor is progressing. We typically follow the 4-1-1 rule, if your contractions are 4 minutes apart, last about a minute, and this goes on for about an hour as they gain in intensity, then it's probably time to head our way!
