This is what happens to a 15amp GFI on a 20amp circuit… all fried up!

Came across this improper copper coupling connecting a CPVC with just pipe glue and a proper connection to PEX. In this case the CPVC to copper connection will leak at some point since no water hammer is present. A licensed plumber will need to be consulted to resolve this matter. Single 2x4’s used alone should not be used to support additional beams to hold the stringers in place. The ledger board in between the 2x4’s was cut to let the single 2x4’s get through and only had one nail in which should have at least 2 or more for that piece to ensure the joist stays put. The elbow brackets used at the top of the stringers were the wrong kind and did not have galvanized screws/nails. It is deck season and ALL decks should be inspected annually to ensure they are safe and free of any defects that could cause personal injury.
