Mental Health Month. May 12-18 (Pregnant and Postpartum People)
This week, we focus on recognizing the importance of maternal mental health among pregnant and postpartum people.

Pregnancy and giving birth can be joyful and can also present a variety of strong emotions for pregnant and postpartum people.

This week, May 5 through 11, is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week and May 9 is Children’s Mental Health Day!

An estimated one in five youth has a diagnosable mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder – yet many do not receive the help they need. Good mental health increases the ability of children and teens to practice self-care and face challenges with resilience.

We have been busy telling our story! Carolina Pines Agency Fair at Mt Zion Baptist Church and Livingstone College Career Day on the campus of Livingstone College.
