Due to heavy snow and treacherous road conditions, Shore Transit WILL NOT operate any service on Monday, 2/23
We apologize for any inconvenience!
Anticipate the pending snowstorm to interrupt Shore Transit service
Please be advised that transit service may be impacted during the snowstorm that is forecasted for our area. Shore Transit will operate unless / until it is unsafe for operations.
While we do try to give as much advanced notice as possible before service interruption or suspension, road conditions will dictate how much notice we are actually able to give.
Sunday service is currently operating but with blizzard conditions expected later on during the day, please be advised that if road conditions deteriorate, service may be suspended without notice.
Please keep that in mind when planning your travel. If you use transit to get to a location and plan to use it for your return, your return may not be feasible if deteriorating conditions force us to suspend service.
We do anticipate that transit service may be suspended at some point during this weather event and lingering effects that it may have on our area.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Check back here for updates!
Important Update Regarding Shore Transit Service for Monday, 1/26
Slush covered roads are anticipated to give way to extremely icy road conditions for Monday. Transit Officials will closely monitor road conditions throughout the evening and overnight hours and will make a determination as to whether or not service can operate on Monday, after sunrise.
As a result, customers can anticipate that transit service will, minimally, have a delayed start and are asked to please understand that service may not be possible, if conditions are too unsafe.
Please check back after 7:30am on Monday, 1/26, to see whether or not conditions will allow Shore Transit to operate.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
No Service on Sunday, 1/25, due to Snowstorm
Due to heavy snow continuing to fall and freezing rain forecasted for our area, Shore Transit WILL NOT operate any service on Sunday, 1/25.
We apologize for an inconvenience!
