I’m a few weeks late for the “end of year” reflection, but feel so pulled to share my feelings regardless.

2025 changed me in so many ways, made me step into a higher version of myself in some, and to let go of myself in others.

I could have never imagined what the year had in store last January: moving twice, finding out about expecting our first child, the loss of my dad, learning to rise up and face the new challenges that his death brought in order to support my family.

There are so many emotions I’ve felt that I’m not sure I can even name them all.

But the one that stands out: gratitude.

Gratitude for the people who have showed up for me in the celebration and in the mourning.

Gratitude that although I’ve neglected my Instagram for months that my business still lives and thrives, giving me the flexibility to show up in my personal life when I need to.

Gratitude for the people who trust me to document their families, because it really is so important to do.

Gratitude that I had someone in my life who was so hard to lose. And gratitude that I get to welcome a new person into our family so soon.

So, thank you. For being here, for trusting me, for making this my sacred space. I can’t wait for what 2026 holds and to do it with all of you 🩷
