What the job entails:

• Manage the complete sales process including prospecting, lead generation, pricing, and closing the deal.
• Build solid relationships with customers
• Increase revenue and maximize margin/profitability through defined metrics

Candidate Characteristics:

• Motivated, self-starter with a willingness and desire to succeed
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate clearly on the phone and through email o Comfortable making cold calls as well as following up on warm leads
• Understanding of the trucking and 3PL industry

Skills Needed:

• Brokerage Sales and Operations (2+ years)
• Customer Service/Sales Experience (2+ years)
• Excellent communication skills (via email, phone, in person meetings)
• Verifiable growth track record
• Effective negotiation skills
• Thinking outside the box – creative problem-solving abilities
• Team Player
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Experience using McLeod Software helpful, but not required
