Angelo State PT

The Oaxaca Mission Group, made up of 3rd year students from ASU's DPT program, put on a 5K fundraiser on 12/3 in order to gain funds for their upcoming trip. The mission trip is based on providing physical therapy services to underserved and underprivileged populations in Oaxaca, Mexico. Their fundraising race turned out to be a success! There were about 20 participants who arrived at the race, despite the windy and chilly weather, including faculty, staff, and San Angelo locals. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes went to 3 of ASU DPT's own students, two 3rd year students and one 2nd year student. It was an overall successful event and we can't wait for the next one.🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
