It was our pleasure to host Dario Da Rold, his wife Filia Franco and his family members. Mr Rold introduced Italian cuisine and thin crust pizza to San Rafael when he opened up Villa Romana in 1973. Many San Rafael residents still remember coming to his restaurant when they were little kids. We are grateful for his mentorship on Italian pizza and pasta. We're delighted to hear that his family continuously enjoy dining with us and that they consistently receive friendly service at our restaurant!

The very first Easter taught us is that life never ends and love never dies. We can't wait for someone to bring us flowers. It's better to plant your own garden and decorate your own soul. Happy Easter!!!

We are grateful for chef David Haydon and his son for taking the time to support our restaurant. His reputation in the Marin county has been impeccable at Il Davide since 1995. George Lucas the film director used to come to Il Davide. We love his larger than life personality and philanthropy effort in the community. In addition, his authentic passion for Italian cuisine is bar none. We're so happy that David and his son's experience with us met their high expectations. We're especially glad he loved our buttermilk chicken sandwich, penne norcina and tiramisu! Thank you once more, for sharing your kindness and generosity. We hope you have a beautiful day! :)
