A recent plein air from the ranch… the rugged beauty of this land, the isolation and quiet, are perfect for me. This piece, a 9 x 12 oil on linen panel, was painted in a few session, capturing the rocky terrain of the valley floor .

From the Canyon Lands of Utah, “Evening, Western Rim”, 18 x 24 oil on linen. I have been working on the Canyon lands series for a couple of years now, with 18 paintings completed so far. I am in love with the beauty of this place, a perfect place to paint~
