Dentistry is one of the oldest medical professions, dating back to 7000 B.C. with the Indus Valley Civilization. Hesi-Re was an Egyptian scribe who lived around 2600 B.C. and is recognized as the first dental practitioner.

On land the mammal with the most teeth is a Giant Armadillo with as many as 100 teeth! In the ocean the Spinner Dolphin has about 252 teeth! That's a lot of teeth!!!!
