🛑 “Normal” life is on pause for the next few months. I’ll be using this account to post more about my breast cancer journey, how I incorporate cannabis into my daily life (this is forever changing), and all things wellness.
Diagnosed on 4/20/22: Stage 1A breast cancer, Ear +, PR -, HER 2+.

One of my favorite things I’ve learned as a cannabis nurse is we have an Endocannabinoid System (ECS) that regulates our internal environment and keeps our bodies in balance. Another great thing is we produce a chemical called Anandamide - which in Sanskrit is translated to “BLISS.” 🧘🏻‍♀️ This chemical is responsible for the “runner’s high.” These chemicals are short-lived and can be depleted by stress, poor sleep, poor diet and life 🥴.
~Fortunately for us, we can assist our bodies in replenishing our ECS with: good quality sleep, meditation, massage, as well as supplementing with cannabis or CBD. I love experimenting with different cannabis and CBD brands and ways of ingestion to keep my “bliss” chemicals flowing all day 🥰💪🏼
