Storytime fun at the Dougherty Station Library! I had a great time reading The Magical Yet to a room full of young readers and their families. From the warm-up songs and fingerplays to the excitement during the story, the energy in the room was incredible. The message of “you can’t do it…yet” is such a powerful one for kids (and adults too!). A big thank you to Tom Schween and our library team for creating such a welcoming and engaging weekly program. With 90+ children and caregivers joining regularly, it’s clear how important these moments are for early learning, imagination, and community connection. Proud to celebrate our libraries—especially during National Library Week—and all they do for San Ramon families.

Great fun as always at Sheep Shearing Day at Forest Home Farms—one of San Ramon’s best community traditions. I volunteer there as the local beekeeper and provide the honey I harvest from the hives at the farm for sale at special events and the gift shop (and we sold out—thank you!). All proceeds support the San Ramon Historic Foundation for maintenance and programs at the farm—our city’s historic farm park. Even better, I got to enjoy the day with my wife and grandson—animals, tractors, and plenty of smiles all around.

Enjoyed attending the final round of the Fortinet Founders Cup today at Sharon Heights. Incredible performances by Hyo Joo Kim, Nelly Korda, and a very talented field. During Women’s History Month, it was inspiring to see these athletes building on the legacy of the LPGA founders and showing young women what’s possible through hard work and determination. Events like this remind us how sports bring communities together and inspire the next generation.

The 2026 Spring Business Expo & Mixer at The Bridges was top-notch! 🍷🍇 The energy was high, and the conversations were even better.
As Mayor, my favorite part of the evening was seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new entrepreneurs to our vibrant community. It’s a testament to why San Ramon remains the best place to live, work, and thrive.
