Sometimes what’s been in front of us all along comes alive when we see it from a different angle.

Many cultures developed practices that shaped people from within first, and that inner evolution reflected a similar remarkable affect in the world around them. That’s how societies shift—quietly, but powerfully.

I believe small, consistent steps in the right direction can have a profound impact over time. But those steps need to come from something deeper than wanting recognition, status, or wealth. They have to come from a more innocent place of alignment—something steady, grounded, internally, and eternally true.

From that place, our actions and virtues take on their most authentic form, and what we create becomes something others can feel and experience as beauty too.

Everything you just read is archery. For example, when I mentioned “small, consistent steps,” one way I experience that is in the adjustments I make from shot to shot. I’ve found that physical changes can sometimes be too much—often, all that’s needed is a shift in intention. When that happens, my arrows land with less overcompensation.

So in the end, it’s not just about where the arrow lands, but where it’s coming from that counts.
