New Homes Concierge

Behind the scene of a day in the life as a Realtor. There are many who think we just put a home on the MLS and then wait to get an offer so we can close and collect a commission check. So far from the truth.

Today I spent the entire day prepping a home for sale. Sure, I already had the inspections and staging done, but it’s just not ready yet for pictures/video (tomorrow).

So today we:

- Go through entire home to make sure home is actually cleaned (cleaners don’t always look at the details)
- Change all lightbulbs so they match
- Put in matching doorstops
- Make sure all smoke and carbon devices are installed/working
- Add stain to the cabinets where there was normal wear
- Make sure all tubs have drain stoppers
- Replace A/C air filter
- Clean bathroom exhaust fans
- And, and , and…..

Not as glamorous as most would think, but with each home my role is to present the home in its best light so we can attract the best offers. Even for a 450k home like I worked on today.

Oh, and I did the same thing for another home yesterday!
