As we age, our skin changes. It becomes thinner and looser. And then there is the reality of gravity, helping to pull everything down…

The main culprit of this problem is collagen. Or more accurately, lack of collagen. Collagen is the protein in our skin that gives our skin that youthful, vibrant texture. But as we age, we lose collagen. Over time, this decrease in collagen causes our skin to stretch and droop, then causing the excess, loose skin and fine lines and wrinkles.
