Fun fact about this piece: our client works in manufacturing at a large tech company here in the Bay Area -- so they designed a special hinge. This has a "waterfall table leaf" -- there is a hinge mechanism so the waterfall can act as a table leaf to fit an additional 3 chairs.

Today the came by and collected the off cuts we produce from milling -- of the 300 logs we took in last year, this pile represents "the waste" generated by the we've diverted from the urban -- we've found a way to recycle 100% of the logs we take in.

and is what the needs if we want to consciously utilize our planet's finite resources as we continue to build new here while destroying faraway lands in developing countries.
