How can we speed up construction of every kind of solar without falling victim to the political trip wires of utilities designed to serve investors above all else, and unions hard-wired to block anything built by non-union labor, and environmentalists uncomfortable with the idea of covering even small portions of the desert with solar?

We need Trade Skills! They are essential to keep our country running smoothly. Consider that IT coders can’t work if their computers don’t have electricity to power them after the batteries run down. Renewable Energy systems need electricians to safely install them. House repairs are impossible without plumbers, carpenters and painters. Your car needs a certified mechanic to have it run in optimal mode now that there are so many internal computers. And consider the cost of college, the debt burdens it puts on students and their workforce readiness it prepares them for vs. the immediate return on investment with licensed and certified trade resources.
