38 is off to a great start! I spent time with friends and family and it was exactly what I needed to recharge.

Reconnecting with old friends has me feeling so nostalgic. Maybe it's also because my nephew went to his first homecoming dance last weekend but now I'm digging through old photos. Let's see what I find.

What is one thing you would change about high school?

I would have spent more time having fun and less time stressing about grades. Let's face it, no one cares what my GPA in high school was. Shhh don't tell my kids that because I fully expect to see good grades. I'm so thankful for the friendships and memories that I did make.

If you're missing the social aspect and community then check out my favorite mom's group. . I'm proudly wearing my MomNation street team swag today.

My boys! They are both the sweetest boys with the biggest hearts. They love to give compliments and nothing makes this mama's heart happier than to watch them be so willing to help others. It is one of the things that both of their teachers have said about them and I couldn't be more proud to be their mama.

Oh my mama heart is feeling all the things this morning. Happy first day of Kindergarten my baby!

Last night he told me he wasn't going to be scared. He wasn't going to be nervous. Sure enough once he saw his friend he ran off and it was mom and dad who had to ask for a hug and kiss. He now goes by the name Brave Brayden and I couldn't be more proud of my sweet boy. You're gonna kill it at school today and every day buddy!

Happy Father's day to my co-captain. I could not wrangle these 4 on my own and I'm so thankful that I don't have to.

During the over a decade of infertility I had plenty of time to imagine what life would be like for us as parents. The one thing that always stood out was how lucky our kids would be to have you as their daddy. Reality is so much better than anything I could have imagined.

I love how you sing butterfly kisses to our girls and they look at you the way a daughter who knows just how loved and safe she is looks at her hero. I love how the boys look up to you and even how they lift their shirts up after a meal to see if their bellies are getting bigger so they can grow up to be big and strong like you.

We don't have it all figured out yet but we're so grateful to have you as a leader on our Thieman team. Love you babe. Happy Father's day!

Take the picture! Your babies will not remember that you had that double chin, that you still hadn't lost the baby weight or that you tried on everything in your closet until you finally settled on something. What they're going to have left when you leave this earth are their memories of you and the pictures to remind them.
