If you're shopping in a locally owned store, please don't open sealed packages or allow your children to open merchandise that hasn't been purchased.

While it may seem harmless, every package that's opened or damaged costs small businesses money. Once an item's original packaging has been torn open, we often can't sell it at full price and are forced to heavily discount it—or sometimes can't sell it at all.

Unlike large chain stores, local businesses operate on much smaller profit margins. We have rent, utilities, payroll, inventory costs, insurance, and families depending on our businesses to succeed. Every damaged item comes directly out of those resources.

If you'd like to see what's inside a package, simply ask. Most local shop owners are happy to help whenever possible.

Thank you to everyone who teaches their children to respect merchandise and who helps support the small businesses that make our community unique. Your thoughtfulness truly makes a difference. ❤️

A little note from "Crystals & Collectives".....
We recently received feedback from someone who was unhappy about a few items we carry in our shop. It got us thinking about something important.

As a retail business, it is simply impossible to stock products that every single person who walks through our doors will love, agree with, or personally choose to purchase.

Every store carries a variety of products for a variety of customers. Some people may not agree with fi****ms being sold in major retailers such as our local Walmart. Others may not care for Barbie or Bratz dolls sold in many stores in our area. Some shoppers may not appreciate adult products ("toys") that are sold in large chain stores and grocery stores, and pharmacies in our area. Likewise, some visitors may not share our appreciation for crosses, faith-based items, crystals, carvings, or other collectibles that we proudly display throughout our shop.

That's okay.

Our goal has never been to create a store where every item appeals to every person. Our goal is to create a welcoming space filled with unique gifts, crystals, art, collectibles, décor, jewelry, and conversation pieces that appeal to many different people and interests.

Some of our most popular items happen to be hand-carved crystal pieces, including artistic n**e goddess carvings and novelty carvings that are highly sought after by collectors. While these pieces may not be everyone's cup of tea, many of our customers absolutely love them.

We respect that not every item will resonate with every visitor, just as we respect every customer's right to decide what they do and do not wish to purchase.
