🏞️ Spending time outdoors can lift our spirits, encourage movement, and create meaningful moments, but it's important to remember that older adults are more vulnerable to the effects of UV exposure and heat.
‼️For individuals living with dementia or other cognitive challenges, they may not always recognize when they're becoming too hot or need to seek shade‼️

Simple steps like ☑️wearing lightweight, protective clothing, ☑️applying sunscreen, ☑️wearing a hat and sunglasses, and ☑️taking breaks in the shade can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe while enjoying the sunshine.
