Attackers steal 140k AICPA accountants’ emails and passwords | Cybernews Threat actors say they have a database with over 140k email addresses and corresponding passwords from the AICPA.

What do the following companies have in common?

They seem very diverse and at first glance, completely unrelated. Give up???

Well, they all publish 10-K reports (because they are publicly traded) that list Cyber Threats (hacking, ransomeware, compromised company and customer data, etc.) as a "risk" or concern; some listing potential costs expected related to a breach and even openly stating that they invest in Cyber Insurance in preparation for a breach.

Chew on that for a bit, and ask yourself: if these amazing companies are concerned about Cyber Security, shouldn't I also be. Don't be lulled into thinking that you are safe because you are just a little guy or just a nobody. It is estimated that small businesses spend between "$826-$653,587 on cyber security incidents."
