This was my first and i enjoyed the fesivities. Endulging in other people's culture is the spice of life. You dont have to accept everything about it but you can appreciate it and absorb what you need from it.

For those who dont know, a "krathong' is a floating vessel, thats why Thai people float little boats down river on the holiday.

The light in the boat represents buddha's awareness and the boat itself pays homage to the Hindu water Goddess Ganga.
