Evening and Gratitude,

When the noise of the day slows in a familiar way. The coolness of the earth sucks at your ankles, as geese return to their home with no walls. The evening dissolves into the lavender dusk. We know it and have felt it. The trees and critters settle down for the appearing stars as the silent dusty rose ripples along the edge of the shadows. Together we are, where words don’t exist.
It doesn’t matter where we are, on this little blue globe, if we stand in shoes, boots or barefoot, we feel mother earth, sharing her love each evening.
A lone rider and his pony responds to this home that stretches into forever.
