Another year has gone by. 3 years since Kelly Lawson left this earth. Time keeps going and so do we. We lost her dog Kibbull in September. But Kismet, Kanab and Kadyn are still with us. We want to believe that Kelly and Kandie were there to greet Kibbull and that they had a beautiful reunion. Grief still visits and overwhelms from time to time. But we try to focus on the good times and all the memories we get to keep forever.

We had an amazing turn out for our Howloween event this year, it is a bittersweet thing. Love to see the people and dogs, but still feel like something is missing.

We will keep going and striving to help homeless animals in Utah. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support.

Create an ofrenda in honor of a beloved pet who has left this earth. Light a candle, put out a bowl of water and their favorite toy. Share a photo of the pet you will be remembering today.

Tradition says our furry friends visit before the main Día de Mu***os celebrations, following the glow of candles, the scent of marigolds, and the love that never fades.

Our hearts are full and we are so proud of 10 years of our annual Howloween Costume Contest and Parade. Big thank you to our volunteers, vendors and most of all our participants. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and recognized. It was wonderful to see everyone this morning. And the costumes did not disappoint! Remember what Kelly said, together we can make a difference. Looking forward to next year.
