When we've needed the mental health professions to come through for us is when they have failed us the most.
It's time to bring effective therapy back.

One thing that I've come to dislike and even resent about the mental health industry is how it has rested on this notion that the person, the individual is the one that is defective and broken as though mental illness isn't the result of lost and broken culture. As though we only have a variety of junk values to choose from.

If you ask me, people are mentally ill often because they are having a response to their environment.
