Lumina Vision – Optometric Technician Needed. No optical experience required.

Lumina Vision, a growing optometry practice with a fun work environment, is seeking someone with excellent patient care skills to join our amazing team as an Optometric Technician in our Sandy office! Pay is based on experience. The position is full time (preferred) or part time, including a half-day Saturday morning.

You will work with patients of all ages to perform eye care testing, gather and record important health information, schedule appointments, check insurance benefits, assist with glasses selection and contact lens education, perform simple bookkeeping and other administrative duties, and assist the doctor in caring for our patients.

You don’t need experience– if you are a happy and positive person who is looking for a long-term position that makes a difference in peoples’ lives, we will provide all of the necessary training to make you an excellent optometric technician.

Do you love kids and gain personal satisfaction from seeing them grow and develop?

If so, you might be our next great vision therapist! Our practice is growing, and we are looking for a smart, self-motivated person for our Sandy, UT office. The position is full time, including a half-day Saturday morning. We will also cross-train you in other practice areas such as medical assisting, optical, and reception.

Vision therapists work directly with children and adults who have trouble reading, doing sports, or performing academically due to poor visual skills. The treatment feels like "play" but is actually a highly structured program of exercises prescribed by our doctor to improve performance. Our program graduates get better grades, enjoy reading, and see more clearly and comfortably than they did before.

You don't need experience-- if you are a happy and positive person who is looking for a long-term position that makes a difference in peoples' lives, we will provide all of the necessary training to make you an excellent vision therapist.
