Lea scored herself an upgrade!!!
Absolutely stunning 🤩
Moments jewelry on instagram! 👏

Have you ever had an idea in your head and it worked perfectly?

That’s what I was able to accomplish with these cute favors that doubled as table assignments.

I got 2”x2” boards from homedepot and plastic tubes from Amazon to make these. See below the steps I took to DIY these cute favors that allowed everyone to have a piece of our indoor jungle at home with them.

• Stain the boards with walnut wood stain using a paper towel.
• Cut the boards into 2x2 cubes using a compound miter saw.
• Stain the end grains of the cubes using a foam sponge soaked in stain.
• Drilled a hole in the top of each cube that would snuggly fit the plastic tube.
• Dusted off all the saw dust from drilling the holes.
• Had my amazing step-sister in-law @brittsinclair_ hand write the S&D on each one (she volunteered for this because we couldn’t find stickers small enough to print it on.)
• Cut a bunch of my plants and placed one cutting in each and filled with water and put into the cube.
• Cut twine and tied on each tag, which again the amazing Britt typed up and printed the tags and cut and wrote on them for me!
• Placed out on the shelves for people to pick!

I also decided to write on the mirror instead of making a separate sign.

It says, “Thanks for Rooting for us! Find your leaf and take your seat!”

These would not have been possible without the help of my mom and sister for dusting the cubes off and Brittany for doing all the personalized work. And to Dakota for setting me up with the proper tools to use!

I am so happy with how these turned out! I’m glad so many of our family and friends now have a piece of our indoor jungle 🥰
