Girls In the Attic

We are not a restaurant! We don't own a restaurant and if we did we wouldn't call it Girls In The Attic. Girls in the attic are those pesky thoughts that skip around in the attic of your brain. So because we are not totally brainless we take those pesky thoughts and write books. No fast food involved except what we get to stoke our always ready for a bit of unhealthy food and rush out to go

I have just been advised that my super crush of age 14-15 died about three years ago.I have thought of him often over the years but never saw him after that one year. I am now age 81 and the thought of George Exner a grad student at Union College in Schenectady Niew York still brings to my lips those two words we teen age girls would utter at the sight of the man of their dreams. "HUBBA HUBBA!" Mr. Exner was our student teacher in our literature class. When he left school I with my friend Betty would follow him to the tall iron gates of the college just a few blocks away from our dreaded Nott Terrace High School. He would close the gates without looking back and I would stand very still and watch him walk the path until he turned and walked up the steps to his fraternity house. Of course, he never looked back. I look back now and think what a pleasure that great crush was and how he made every word we had to read better than the last.

My new coat of paint has brought to my attention that FB is pretty much a waste of time. So this will be -30- My subject: THE KARDASHIANS, I don't watch the shows but I follow with interest their enterprises and they are many and all successful. So, these are not untalented lazy women they are terrific at what they do and work hard at it. This new coat of paint makes me wonder why all those neighbors of a Kardashian party have been so furious over the firework thing that lasted a mere eight minutes and startled and woke up, evidently, entire neighborhoods at midnight putting them into a rage. Strange to me all those over sensitive neighbors would not just pop up and watch the fireworks out over the ocean and enjoy! And so it is, that my final GirlsInTheAttic posting is to wish the Kardashian Women all the best at whatever they do, I don't quite understand it all, but as long as they do nothing else matters. Man, Oh Man! ONBEINGOFANAGE ARE THEY EVER GOING TO HAVE A GREAT TIME? YES THEY ARE! And I hope if anyone ONBEINGOFANAGE reads this entry, YOU do too.
