California trial attorneys push bills to rein in 'bad actors' in legal industry A group of lawyers is backing new legislation in Sacramento aimed at cracking down on misconduct, including harsher penalties for illegally recruiting clients.

Ten years ago today, I was sworn into the California Bar.

It’s been an incredible decade of practicing law. Over these past ten years, I have:
⚖️ Tried 19 cases
⚖️ Argued twice in the 4th District Court of Appeals
⚖️ Expanded into six additional jurisdictions (North Dakota, Washington D.C., Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington)
⚖️ Graduated from the Trial Lawyers College
⚖️ Elected to the Executive Committee of OCTLA, where I am currently serving as 2nd Vice President
⚖️ Honored to receive the OCTLA Top Gun – Young Gun Award (2024)
⚖️ Became a proud member of ABOTA (2022)

But the most meaningful milestone of all: starting a law firm with my wife and trial partner, Cervantes & Chambers, PC.
