When we are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, it’s hard to think at that moment, that there is purpose in what you are experiencing. Or, muster up enough strength to believe that there will be joy in the morning.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” Proverbs‬ ‭13:12‬

How do we get to the tree of life?

Find your quiet place. Getting into that safe place with Jesus, where you can let out your frustrations, your fears, or your hurt and pains, provides a place of confidentiality. It becomes your ‘safe place’.

If we exercise these moments with care and honor, and allow The Holy Spirt to speak truth into our hearts, He will faithfully lead us to the tree of life, where we can find purpose in our pain, and joy after mourning. If there’s anything we’ve learned, it’s that things aren’t always what it seems in the grander scheme of it. We must hold true to the word of God and His promises in providing the care and comfort that only He can give. What we can’t see at times, does not mean, that He has abandoned us. He is patiently waiting for us to sit with Him.

Praying that these words may find someone who feels left in the dark, find refuge in a quiet place with Jesus.🕊

2 BIG things coming our way this week and we don’t wanna miss these opportunities. They will continue to fan the flame that is within us and it will invest in our future here at .
1) First Wednesday. We will have guest speaker Israel Campbell who is anointed, and we have the privilege of hearing him speak into our future with our family here at , along with our families we lead at home.

2) Heart For The House. This investment will sow into our lives in ways that we may not even realize. DON’T miss this! We often get weird when it comes to speaking about money, but let me encourage you that taking this to heart will go beyond your bank account. Sowing into YOUR church, will not only bless the church, but it WILL BLESS you in more ways than we can even think possible.
We faced different things this weekend. We were extremely blessed and we also faced headache at the loss of our dear friend Ted Lindberg. .
Let’s honor Ted by honoring what he strongly believed in, ‘the church’ and giving.
