📣 We're evolving our membership model and making it easier for members to join, connect, and access SCA resources.⁣⁣

As part of our purpose to foster coffee communities to support thriving, sustainable, and equitable activity for the entire value chain—we're evolving our membership model this year to grow our engagement and our reach, bringing far more voices into the community.⁣

Individual membership will include two models — an associate member and a professional member. The associate member is a free membership tier, available for individuals interested in participating in SCA events, education, and competitions, and for those seeking access to resources, or standards. It will also allow you to choose your Guild, completely free.⁣

Get ready for greater connectivity within the global coffee community and more ways to access relevant resources—all with enhanced features and personalized experiences.⁣⁣

On day one, we had our first look at the production and sample roasters from 12 different manufacturers in the Roasting Tent, met our Team Challenge teams and cupped the fresh crop coffees, and enjoyed coffees from local businesses. In addition to yesterday's activities, some attendees opted to take the US Roasting Championship prep course 🏆
